Audi needed an overhaul of their existing web-site together with an efficient and flexible method of regularly updating it.
They also required web-sites belonging to most of their national dealer network to be part of the same system in order to reuse content and standardise the design.
A content management system was designed and built together with web-page templates and other functionality.
The architecture includes: .NET and SQL Server.
Business analysis and project management skills:
- A set of prioritised business requirements were produced from a series of workshops
- Wire-frames and a non-functional prototype were built
- A functional specification formalised the screens
- A technical specification described how this .NET application would be programmed and installed
- The build of the web-site was managed using a traditional waterfall methodology and the site went live 6 months later
