SIX Portal

The NSW Department of Lands is a world leader in land management, maintaining 3.5 million land titles. It provides land-related online services to thousands of commercial and government organisations.

DOL's existing extranet is based on outdated technologies that are not scalable, are difficult to maintain and difficult to extend. A new portal is being built which will incorporate over 100 portlet services. Behind this lies a service-oriented architecture utilising an enterprise service bus within a high-availability infrastructure.

Documentation of the services was required together with advice on project organisation.
